Coming 2 America Movie Review

I was able to watch Coming 2 America this weekend.  With a star studded cast this is the sequel to Coming To America which came out so long ago.  I should have watched the predecessor once again to remember what the story was all about.  This new movie was just okay.  It was entertaining and funny but was not spectacular.  Tracy Morgan is in this film and after watching his live comedy show in person I think he is overrated.  I enjoyed the many characters portrayed by Arsenio Hall and Eddie Murphy.  It was a delight to see Leslie Jones.  She is so good at playing an over-the-top strong female.  The Trevor Noah cameo is comical; another comedian I have seen live in person and he is actually very funny and intellectual.  It was a delight to see Gladys Knight sing.  She still has the chops to sing.  I don’t want to ruin the movie for anyone so check it out for yourself and let me know what you think.

Minari Movie Review

I just watched Minari.  I heard good things and even Rotten Tomatoes has given it excellent ratings.  It is a movie about a Korean family moving to midwest USA chasing the American dream.  I waited until today to watch because it is subtitled.  It is not a fast moving movie so some people may find it boring.  This is a movie about family and struggle.  The son is just adorable and the grandma is not what you would expect and brings some humour to the film.  All in all I did enjoy this film because it about family values and togetherness.  This is a character study type movie.  Even Brad Pitt backed this movie.  Check it out if you have the chance.

Home Theatre Here We Come?

Due to this pandemic everyone is basically under house arrest.  Why not make it enjoyable?  Televisions are so inexpensive right now that your grocery store or even your drug store sell 4K 60 inch flat screen TVs.  If you like surround sound you can get a Bluetooth one or maybe just a sound bar in front of the tv.  I bought my 55 inch back in 2013 and 3D tv was the rage.  It is a Sony and I have hooked up to it a 5.1. Home theatre system.  I won $500 gift card from the now defunct Future Shop several years ago and this still works well with the current setup.  I use a digital audio cable.  Now how about your tv content?  IPTV is the answer because you want options and this gives so many options, most people I know using this love it and think it is the best thing since slice bread.  Watching current movies and tv shows as well as television is now possible at a fraction of the price.

I notice in Canada the standard of living is much higher so people don’t want to spend too much on cable or satellite tv.  IPTV seems to be more popular north of the border versus south of the border.  The opposite seems to be the case for the neighbour down south.  US has a lower standard of living and housing is more affordable so people spend much more on tv.  Either way during tough times like this, people are trying to save money but still enjoy themselves at home.  What is the solution?  IPTV as the world is your oyster!  I think I have gained weight just watching lately. The Options are endless and honestly it is like a kid in a candy store.  There is something for everyone unless you don’t like television then this is not for you.  I feel like a preacher here spreading the word of iptv like it is part of the bible of new technology.  Slowly there are converts, 1 box at a time.  Most people don’t understand it until they see it for themselves.  It is like a miracle being performed in front of their eyes!  Don’t you want to be mesmerized also?

Cornucopia Of TV Possibilities

Remember the days when you are flipping through the channels on your television and you can’t find anything you like to watch?  Every other channel is the same and full of commercials?  The same movies are being played over and over again?  Well this is the answer and it is IPTV.  I am watching live television right now on my IPTV box and checked the channel list.  Guess how many channels there are?  3468 channels!  This number grows weekly and is it not crazy to think of the options?  There are all the sports channels, movie channels, American and Canadian channels you can think of. There is a slew of language channels.  For Italian alone there is 69 channels!  Usually the TV guide has many categories to make it easier to navigate.  I like to have it in alphabetical order to make it easier.  It is perfect for anyone as the variety of channels would be great for sports buffs, movie buffs, multi language fans and tv series fans.  I’m actually one of those people that like all 4 categories.

As you can see above a sample of the TV guide with the hockey game on at the same time.  Most channels are HD and streaming is smooth and not choppy or interrupted.  I have been using IPTV for 5 years and this is the best I have seen IPTV.   Honestly the average person could not tell the difference from cable tv or satellite tv versus IPTV.  The Formuler brand of IPTV products have it’s unique TV guide and you can see how easy it is to read and navigate.  Channel changing is seamless and loads right away.  The main thing to make sure it works successfully is to ensure that you have unlimited internet at a very good speed.  The average seems to be 75 mbps and up nowadays.  You want at least 25 mbps if not more depending on how many devices are also connected to the wifi network.  I have my modem directly next to the tv so I have the IPTV box directly wired with the Ethernet cable.  This ensure that there is no delay due to wifi.  For the vast number of channels you can get, can you imagine how much that would cost normally with your local tv or satellite provider?  I would dare to say several hundred dollars perhaps even $500 and up! For less than a cup a coffee a day, IPTV can be had.  Can you imagine?  I have a friend staying up late watching tv shows and movies.  Some people like the 24/7 channels of specific content such as Bruce Lee movies (RIP) and Harry Potter movies and even popular tv series.

New Horizon for Technology

What is IPTV?  I ask people if they have it and surprisingly most people don’t know what it is.  It stands for Internet Protocol Television.  Basically, it means television through the internet.  Forget about satellite and cable.  We are at the point that internet has progressed fast enough to keep up with this technology.  Personally, I have used it for over 5 years and have saved so much money because all it requires is a solid and somewhat fast internet connection that is unlimited and a iptv box or firestick.  Gone are the days of using unknown knockoff boxes mass produced.  There are actual legitimate companies that make android boxes specifically made for iptv.  For how much a person saves in their monthly tv expenses, it makes sense to buy one of these devices.  The best on the market in the past 2 years is Formuler.  What is great about this brand is that each have 1 year manufacturer warranty and they have their own proprietary iptv app called MyTvOnline.  Formuler has several products to choose from with a lot of specs.  The Z Alpha model and up, has the 2nd version of MyTvOnline and it is a great user interface.  Below you can see the easy to use TV guide.

The above pic shows a sample of how the tv shows screen looks like.  It looks like some other streaming services.  It is basically the same for the movie video sections.

This pic shows how clear the live sports channels look like.

IPTV normally has all the tv stations you can think of at a fraction of the cost of regular cable or satellite tv.
